Catechistic Easter Lesson

America, like other countries, have been  well indoctrinated with a Christian study program called 'Catechistic'. Catechism has been the only way the bible has been taught throughout the American educational and social system for decades. The system is very starchy, monotonous, and unforgiving...it was do it this way or go to hell and dead in your sins. Not all together true, but it was the way the larger population learned about Jesus and the Holy Holidays.  Still, for some, it is the only way they teach about Jesus, so this lesson will be about some catechize beliefs on the holiday of Easter.

The very best online teachers is at the webpage Christian Broadcast Network. As a part of the KAPB lessons the CBN bible study called Who Is Jesus is the focus about the cross which is illustrated with 3 words: Rebellion, Redemption, and Repentance.

The three crosses are taught as:
1... Rebellion ... On one a man was dying in sin
2 ... Redemption ... On the second the Lamb of God was dying for sin
3 ... Repentance ... On the third a sinner was dying to sin

Rebellion
On a cross was rebellion. A man dying in his sins.  Life had made him bitter and hard, to much, or too little, no one knows. Facing death, the rebellious man mocked and tormented all the others around who could hear his words. Until the last word spoken towards a solution for salvation was to simply trust that God was in heaven. That was the message of the day.

Redemption
Catechistic teachings believe Jesus died for our sins. Believing the very words of the Apostle Peter has healing qualities, his lectures renowned the center cross in order to redeem the listeners. "It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days." - 1 Peter 1: 19 (NLT). Redemption and heaven were inseparable. You had to be redeemed, or you would parish in sin.

Repentance
According to the catechist, repentance was only obtained by baptism. If you sinned, and only sinner, all your life, heaven was still possible, no matter what the sin was, if the person was baptized before death. Not really biblically sound in either biblical fact and reasoning, but that is the way it was taught. And, many still believe that being a sinner can lead to heaven if the reasoning behind the sin, no matter what the sin is, is for the sole purpose to edify God.

These three examples of "On the Cross" are still a major study in quiet a few religious demonstrations around the world today. Some claim they had to be removed away from the Catechistic teachings to obtain redemption. Whatever a person religiously believes, whether bad or good, you can be sure the catechistic movement played an intricate part in the way that person was raised to believe. Today, most catechistic theories have been proven false. The stories a simply folklore handed down through generation that had been fused in with the name and works of Jesus Christ. Salvation was at hand, and Jesus became the tool to gather everyone around, and history shows us that little regard was given to the truth.

Blessing to all this Easter holiday. God is all powerful in His heaven. We too will be with all the others who had rebelled, repented, and are now redeemed. Amen.
.... So that, if a man only abstains from doing evil in order to avoid punishment, Non pasces in cruce corvos, [Thou shalt not be hanged.], saith the Pagan; there, "thou hast thy reward." But even he will not allow such a harmless man as this to be so much as a good heathen. If, then, any man, from the same motive, viz., to avoid punishment, to avoid the loss of his friends, or his gain, or his reputation, should not only abstain from doing evil, but also do ever so much good; yea, and use all the means of grace; yet we could not with any propriety say, this man is even almost a Christian. If he has no better principle in his heart, he is only a hypocrite altogether.
