Adding The Ten Commandments

It's important to always try to add The Ten Commandments into your lifestyle. Some use a system of for and against...such as, "You shall not have other gods beside me" can mean, "Get out all other gods"; while others may said, "Though there are others gods around me, I'll want only this God." And so on down the list of ten.

The Ten Commandments serve as a resource to use when in doubt about what to do in both joyous or troubled situations. Even though the world is all in God's creation, only a few faithful members in it will survive that hardships of this earthly lifestyle. Always try to add just one more commandment into your faith with the 'covenant community'.  Each commandment has a unique purpose, but the beauty of them can only be best viewed when they have been personally obtained.

Regretfully, some faith worshipers believe that the a concealed faith is purposeful, and they strive to undo, one by one, of the Ten Commandments. Just as the Ten Commandments can be used in two different ways, as illustrated above, so can a purposeful application of the commandments. Thoroughly think through your lifestyle. Choose wisely the path your God as some pathways can be very narrow, troublesome, and deceitful.

TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR THE COVENANT COMMUNITY

Then God gave the people all these instructions:
  • 1.  "I am the LORD your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.
  • 2.  "You must not have any other god but me. "You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me... But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.
  • 3. "You must not misuse the name of the LORD your God. The LORD will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
  • 4. "Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy... You have six days each week for your ordinary work,10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the LORD your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you...For in six days the LORD made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.
  • 5. "Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
  • 6. "You must not murder.
  • 7.  "You must not commit adultery.
  • 8.  "You must not steal.
  • 9.  "You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.
  • 10. "You must not covet your neighbor's house. You must not covet your neighbor's wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor." -

10 Rules means Ten Commandments. Truth your faith and add an abundance.  Jesus is the Word. Amen

.... So that, if a man only abstains from doing evil in order to avoid punishment, Non pasces in cruce corvos, [Thou shalt not be hanged.], saith the Pagan; there, "thou hast thy reward." But even he will not allow such a harmless man as this to be so much as a good heathen. If, then, any man, from the same motive, viz., to avoid punishment, to avoid the loss of his friends, or his gain, or his reputation, should not only abstain from doing evil, but also do ever so much good; yea, and use all the means of grace; yet we could not with any propriety say, this man is even almost a Christian. If he has no better principle in his heart, he is only a hypocrite altogether.
