Standard Religious Phrases

Most Western philosophy Christians don't know that many of the religious phrases came from the American founding father Dr. John Wesley. The Freedom Movements and Civil Rights Activists of the 1960's create an atmosphere that caused changes throughout the American culture. The Holy Bible also began to altered as the verses in scripture slowly began to alter forcing to holy book to adapt to the feverish religious march in an attempt to create new up-dated revisions and translations. The American religion's earliest cultural languages used by followers of  Holy Bible began to fade, By the 1970's, only a few of the words listed below were still in use today, and then only to polarize. Successfully, scriptural enlightenment will bring them into vogue again. Why? Mainly because people by nature forgive... Today, some of the listed words are used in religious poetry, music, and literature. These standard words arise interests because they are passed on into cultures by, and through, two centuries of religious standard expressions. So, remember, if you like to write lyrics, poems, or praises, it's always a good idea to use some of these founding American phrases. At this Dr. Wesley link, is the compiled list of his sermons and speeches. What a joy to read! God Bless.

.... So that, if a man only abstains from doing evil in order to avoid punishment, Non pasces in cruce corvos, [Thou shalt not be hanged.], saith the Pagan; there, "thou hast thy reward." But even he will not allow such a harmless man as this to be so much as a good heathen. If, then, any man, from the same motive, viz., to avoid punishment, to avoid the loss of his friends, or his gain, or his reputation, should not only abstain from doing evil, but also do ever so much good; yea, and use all the means of grace; yet we could not with any propriety say, this man is even almost a Christian. If he has no better principle in his heart, he is only a hypocrite altogether.
